Combining solar power and a charging point lets you charge the car with energy you generate yourself, instead of buying it from the grid or relying only on fuel.
How charging with solar surplus works
When your solar installation generates more energy than your home is using at that moment, that surplus can be directed to charge the electric car instead of being fed to the grid. The system automatically prioritises your own energy over the electricity company's.
Do I need to install both at once?
Not necessarily. If you already have solar panels, we can add the charging point configured to use your surplus. If you already have a wallbox, we can add the solar installation. And if you have neither, we size it all together from scratch.

Yes. We set the system up to prioritise your solar surplus over grid energy, charging the car when production is available.
Do I need a battery to charge the car with solar energy?
It is not mandatory. Without a battery, the car charges with the solar surplus available at each moment of the day. With a battery, you have more flexibility to decide when to charge.
What is V2H charging?
Vehicle-to-Home: the ability to use the electric car's own battery as an energy source for the home at certain times. It depends on the car model and the charger — we advise you if your vehicle is compatible.
