What determines the price of your installation
There is no single price per kWp: it depends on the installed capacity, the type of roof and its accessibility, whether you include a battery, the complexity of the legalisation and the type of inverter. Two homes with the same consumption can have different quotes if one needs more mounting structure or a higher-power inverter.
- Installed capacity (number and type of panels)
- Type of roof and ease of access
- Whether it includes a storage battery
- Complexity of the legalisation and paperwork
- Type and power of the inverter
Why to be wary of a "fixed" price without a preliminary study
A serious quote always starts with a study of your real consumption (from your bills) and of your roof's characteristics. A price given without that preliminary study usually means that either it is oversized, or the final price will change once the work begins.
How to calculate the return on investment
The return on investment depends on your consumption, the price of electricity, the applicable grants and rebates and the real production of your installation according to orientation and irradiation. Use our solar calculator for a first estimate, and we refine it with real data in the quote.
